Zunächst hatte man sich für folgendes grobes Streckenprogramm entschieden:

Nun ist es aber wohl doch so, dass in Sacramento ein klassischer Prolog zum Auftakt gefahren wird. Das heißt also man ersetzt ein innerstädtisches Kriterium durch einen Prolog.

Die erste Etappe wird dann aber wie angegeben gefahren.

Mit dem entgültigen Streckenverlauf ist dann in den nächsten Tagen zu rechnen. Gerade eine BA zum Abschluss fände ich interessant. Ebenso, dass die fünfte Etappe die Sierra so ein wenig touchieren wird.

Stage 4: Wednesday, Feb. 18 - Merced to Clovis / 187, 5 Kilometer

Stage 5: Thursday, Feb. 19 - Visalia to Paso Robles / 216,1 Kilometer

Stage 6: Friday, Feb. 20 - Solvang (individual time trial) / 24 Kilometer

Stage 7: Saturday, Feb. 21 - Santa Clarita to Pasadena / 142 Kilometer

Stage 8: Sunday, Feb. 22 - Rancho Bernardo to Escondido / 155,8 Kilometer

Das meiste kann man sich übrigens, auch bei Google Street View anschauen. Kalifornien ist ja so gut wie komplett abfotografiert.

Gerade die zweite Etappe würde ich nicht unterschätzen. Der Stich da am Ende hat gute 370 Hm auf 5 Km. Da geht also schon etwas. Ansonsten ist die Rundfahrt schon sehr auf Leipheimer oder Armstrong zugeschnitten. Das stimmt.

Offenbar wird die ToC von Versus übertragen. Das heißt wohl, dass es keinen Internetstream mehr geben wird. Keinen legalen jedenfalls.

Das hat absolut nix zu sagen... Andere werden auch paralell durch versus übertragen.

Die Frage ist nun ob es auch einen Stream geben wird. Ansonsten sitzen wir aufn Schlauch. Das die regionalen Sender übertragen werden ist aussichtslos.
